“My friends and I stopped in Champion for gas... Sadly there was none. However, there was this delightful little Ice cream shop! The lady working the very COVID friendly outdoor window was friendly and delightful. Perhaps more delightful than her was the ice cream and drinks we bought from her. A welcome treat on a hot day! Even if we run out of gas on our way to Vulcan, atleast we will have had tasty ice cream!”

“This restaurant was recommended and it did not disappoint! We were staying at the Best Western over the Thanksgiving weekend so it was just a walk across the parking lot. We loved the building, cool atmosphere. We thought the pizza oven was warm and welcoming but unfortunately they don't make pizza. Our server was very friendly and everyone was wearing masks & complying with all COVID restrictions. I ordered steak and my husband ordered roast beef and they were both very delicious. I'm just sorry we didn't get a chance to get back during our stay. I would definately recommend.”

“Friendly staff! This place had the best Egg I have ever had at Subway, and I have been getting primarily bacon and egg for decades. I like to think I have pretty high standards when it comes to subway, heck I even worked at one. Seriously, this sandwich went above and beyond. It was so good I decided to spend the night in Vulcan so I could have breakfast there as well. I was lucky enough to get a hotel room with a view of the drive-thru. Oh, did I mention it has a drive thru?? ?”

“Saying this hotel in unique would be an understatement, I personally like the themed rooms, and the slightly ghetto atmosphere of the hotel. It's over a bar, so it's a little loud, the floors aren't even, there's bathrooms in the hallways(our room had a bathroom) so if you're into interesting places, and don't mind sleeping in some weird rooms, I recommend this place. I would give 5 stars, but the pillows really sucked.”
