“I was terrified I was never going to walk properly again after a LisFranc fracture. Two surgeries by Dr Unger and not only am I walking, but I am pain free!!! Sure I swell up sometimes (planes/over use). But from what I understand from another podiatrist it is a miracle I don’t have daily pain!! Yes his bedside manner is the worst I have ever seen... but his surgical skill is a gift!!! I wanted to be referred to someone else when I read the reviews... so glad I didn’t!!!! He is a phenomenal surgeon. Ask him questions, he’s gruff (overworked perhaps?) but he’ll give you great advice!!”

“In 1987 October 22nd I met Dr Lindsey in Foothills hospital I was rushed from Cranbrook to Calgary I had a crush injury of my left arm hand and shoulder. He met us at the ambulance bays and started checking me out as we were running down the halls to emergency surgery. He told me then and there he might not be able to save my arm and hand.
