“I happened upon this store while vising a travel agency in the mall. I have to say that the selection of high quality shoes was amazing, if you are looking for practical, or dressy, or orthotic( not your Grandmas orthotics), and pretty shoes( no stilettos here). You could say they cater to the older crowd( over 30's) who appreciate quality and comfort. There are four things that strike me about this store; quality, variety, price and above all, service. The owner is very nice, patient, low key, knowledgeable, helpful, and doesn't pressure clients into buying. Go there, you'll love it! I bought a pair of shoes just because I was given a chance to try, browse, try more, and browse some more. This was a find for me, and even though clear across the city, I will choose this store over one much closer, with more variety(North Hill Mall) as I feel I would be supporting local, and enjoy the pressure-free shopping. Oh, and did I mention his prices are really fair?...check it out!”

“I always pick up 1-2 kits whenever I see them at a local market. Personally, I like the green curry. Its easy to spice it up with the chili peppers included, or leave it more on the sweet side for my daughters. Recently found out I can get the kits at the Avenida Food Market. This location also prepares it in about 5 minutes to take it home warm. All prepared orders are custom, and they even made a vegan friendly bowl last time. Excellent job folks.”

“I have been to the Canyon Meadows location four times, now. The owner, Chris, made a very generous offer today, which was completely unexpected and more than appreciated. I brought a friend in today, who had never been to Color Me Mine. We went in with the intention of completing glass coasters, something I had done a few months ago. It was reasonably priced, and within my budget this month. I had expressed this all to the female staff member assisting us. I explained what I had done last time, and roughly what I recalled paying. She told me option B would be cheaper than option A, but we could confirm when Chris got in. I own the fact that I somehow missed the pricing that was available to me. This was also not confirmed once Chris was in. When I got to the till, I was shocked to see it nearly double my budget. But, I paid and owned the fact that I did not confirm the price prior to gluing. I left upset, mostly mad at myself, and trying to figure out how to recoup the money. Shortly after I arrived at home, I received a call from Chris offering to refund a portion of my bill or provide a gift certificate for my next visit. He made it clear to me then and there that he was serious about his business succeeding and his customers truly enjoying their time and creations. This experience wasn't so bad that I would never have returned, but it was definitely a lesson to always confirm pricing prior to beginning, no matter what! I highly recommend this Color Me Mine. The atmosphere is great, the customer service is fantastic, and my projects are always fabulous ;). I look forward to my next one! Thank you, Chris!”

“I like solo liquor. For a general liquor store there is a good variety of wine. Much of it always on sale. They beat any competitors deal just like the unnamed bigger places, but still have fair prices always, which the unnamed do not. (The other place gouges you awfully unless you have a picture of the competitors deal, which is obviously a nuisance) lots of selection, great prices”

Within a week the plant was showing signs that it could have a fungus. My mom called to see if she could exchange it. They didn't want her to bring it in (understandable) but to make up for it they delivered a beautiful arrangement of perennials and a box of chocolates to her house!
