“This swimming pool is one of my most loved pools. In my opinion, it is one of the best pools I have been to through out all of the pools I have been to. The slide is very fun! Although it is a great swimming pool and gym, there could be some changes to the changing rooms! I much rather prefer a door that you can lock other than a curtain. Other than that, this water park is great! :)”

“I didn’t see any post COVID reviews so here’s my experience going! I like the booking 1 hour time slots because it means the gym is never overcrowded and i don’t have to wait for the machine i want. It’s also nice that they tape off every second cardio machine because now no one can workout beside me. It may be due to the virus but it seems the only people there are there to get in a great workout, no one wearing jeans or flip flops or trying to sneak anyone in like i read in other reviews. The only downside is that I would love to workout for an hour and a half instead of just one hour but i understand. Overall a great way to get in shape for a lot less money than other places!”

I don’t like missing workouts and even after being a member for a year, I still push hard to make it 3-4 times a week. “Every day feels energetic here! Platoon Fitness is a great gym with a nice layout and offers classes that makes getting fit feel fun! Dean, Lance, Ashley and Josh are highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic trainers who are determined in helping you reach your goals. I lost 17Ibs my first month. They are very accommodating with physical restrictions, I had been in a car accident the day that I signed up with them, and instead of saying I couldn't do the workouts, Kristy showed me alternate workouts that would actually help heal my shoulder and still keep challenging me. Overall, an amazing place to be, an amazing workout to try, and so much fun to be had! Would highly highly recommend.”

“My daughter loves this place. This is her second year how she attends gymnastics classes. Last summer she was almost every week in summer camp and she went to winter camp during the previous winter break. And she also celebrated her 7th birthday. I think that this tells enough how we feel about this place. Coaches are very professional and super fun for the kids. I highly recommend”

“Only did lead there so far, so can't speak to the bouldering section yet. The walls and routes are both modern and varied. You could be just a 5.9 climber and still venture on long overhanging lead routes, and you won't be bored either if you can climb much harder routes. The place is clean, with a very good vibe. Cool setup, all top rope routes can also be done in lead if you want.”

“I am using my boyfriends just to keep it anon. If I could select 10 stars then I most definitely would. This is probably one of the best good life facilities in Calgary. The group fitness instructors are definitely well trained and they always know how to make the class so much fun even if its your first time and you're a little shy (like myself), the space is smaller so I do try to come earlier in the day when there isn't many people. Very well kept and tidy, once it gets closer to the evening it does get a little bit more messy but with the amount of people and the one staff member its expected. And the staff are probably the best part of the entire gym, all employees are well trained and the manager is absolutely lovely. I had a sit down with Heather about an issue I had and she helped me so much from beginning to end. After she had helped me I told her that she was nothing like I read on the google reviews i had read. My advice is if youre going to the Westwinds location for the first time go there with an open mind and you'll see how great is from the members, the equipment, and all the lovely ladies who work there.”

“The coaches have fun names and truly love their jobs. They tailor their teaching methods to the children in their groups. My son LOVES his coach. We play pretend at home and he is 'Gymnastics Joe' giving out stamps, singing slippery fish or three little monkeys, and collecting name tags. We have been going for a year and are very happy with all aspects; registration, coaching, schedule, everything!”
