Aaron and Jill are amazing people. Aaron has extensive experience in building core, strength and flexibility. Both of them are people that will take the time to help you achieve your fitness goals. Aaron and Jill are great trainers and have down to earth personalities that will make your workouts worth your time and money.
Working out with Torch has been a game changer. Aaron and the Torch coaches do not mess around. They've helped me push the limits of what I ever thought my body was capable of. I lost 16.5 pounds and 8.8 inches in only a month. I feel great!! I have more energy and enjoy everybody and everything around me more. I find that booking my time in advance holds me accountable and I don't flake out because I don't feel like it or am too tired. There is no can't... only can't YET - as skill acquistion and proper form is huge! If you are ready to make a real change, Torch is for you. Torch means results.
I joined Torch about 7 months ago after finding them online. I was a bit nervous about starting after reading so many reviews from people who seemed to be in such good shape to begin with - something I certainly was not! The first class was HARD! But after 2 weeks I was hooked.
The classes are always different and challenging. I'm still learning something new almost every class. Aaron and Jill are wonderful instructors who are always providing feed back to help you succeed at your goals. I especially appreciated when they modified workouts for me so I could keep training even after a pretty serious injury (acquired outside the gym).
I've seen so many improvements not only in how I look but also in how I feel. I have more energy and a lot more confidence!

I was referred to Torch to do a 4 week challenge by a friend. I normally play volleyball 2x a week on top of my workout schedule so time constraint was a huge obstacle during this challenge for me.
I felt the first week of the challenge was quite easy and I didn't feel like I was getting much added value from Torch, but once Aaron and Jill were comfortable with my form and how I was performing, they increased the difficulty and weight and I enjoyed it much more!
The class is typically structured with weight training and then their 'blasts' (the circuit portion - always the most challenging part of the class for me, but the most fun!). The rest of the challenge was incredibly helpful and fun for me. The blasts were tough and I felt like I was really pushing myself without the muscle fatigue that I have experienced in previous fitness classes, which allowed me to train more often. I feel like I have gained a ton of new knowledge and technique and I am excited to incorporate them into my workouts.
I also really enjoyed the Olympic Lifting classes they offer. I've done some power cleans, but I've never been comfortable enough to try snatches. Aaron offered amazing introduction to the snatch, always corrected my form when he saw it needed improvement, and gave me incredibly helpful tips.
The class sizes are small, so every class feels like a personal training session. Aaron, Jill, and Kayla are so great with answering questions and encouraging you to give it your all without risking injury. Since the class sizes are small, I often saw the same people every time I went to Torch, so it was nice to build those relationships during my time at Torch. Everyone was always incredibly welcoming and offered tips if they saw me doing an exercise incorrectly.

I have been a Torch member for 10 months. The classes are small and intimate which makes the classes feel as though they are personal training classes, but at a fraction of the cost! Both coaches, Aaron and Jill, focus on proper technique which increases motivation for improvement, and accountability.
They truly do endorse training smarter, not harder. I would recommend this class to anyone looking for proper commitment to fitness and technique. The longevity of your body, and your long term health is truly their top priority.
