“I do not live in Calgary, but I travel there allot. I have Been there before but with poor experience with myself and children with the previous owner, and never went back. With having a new look I went in again with my children. There was a new owner... The owner and staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We had a great experience as my kids don’t sit and they cry while getting their hair cut. They made me feel comfortable. They deal with children in a great manner, they are calm and patient and made them smile and laugh. I would like to comment to anyone that goes to a salon/barber shop and complains about children crying. If you don’t like that then you can go find a barber shop for ADULTS only! Because allot of people have children that need haircuts and everyone will experience children at a salon/barber shop. From my information Golden Blade Barber Shop is open to EVERYONE with NO age specifications. I am glad I went in again and had great service. My children like it there and I will be coming back my next weekend down.”

“I'm so grateful to Iuri Alayev for helping me to overcome panic attacks and eye twitching! I didn't believe in hypnotherapy, but was out of options when Iuri offered his help. “I can’t say enough good things about this karate studio. After years of not being able to stick to other workout routines and classes, I discovered Woodbine Karate Club. It’s very welcoming to all ages and abilities. I was nervous as an adult with no experience, but I felt like I instantly fit in, even with the very experienced students. The instructor, Yuri is wonderful! He takes the time to make sure everyone is getting the most out of the class and makes sure we all stay safe and have fun. It’s always exciting and never boring because no two classes are exactly the same. He’s always switching it up. The classes are so enjoyable that you don’t realize what an intense workout it is until you feel the results later. The spiritual side and the discipline is what makes karate stand out from other workouts and sports. Sensei Yuri has perfected the balance of this in every class. As a bonus, there is always lots of parking and there’s an awesome juice bar on the way out so you can grab a protein shake or bubble tea after class.”

“Like most of the reviews here, I have to agree that Dr Anderson is a great professional and a caring person, and I'm lucky to have him as my doctor. I only have experience with another doctor, "Dr Zak", and I have to say that he's the total opposite of Dr A. I'm not sure if he doesn't speak English, or this is just the way he is, but when I saw him (Dr A wasn't available that day) he barely uttered a word, and after a quick and insufficient assessment, he gave me a piece of paper with a list of medicines and left the office without saying anything. Careless, indifferent and total lack of empathy. I'm not sure what he's doing working as a family doctor...”
