Came to visit here with a friend a few days ago. The building itself is quite beautiful. The taproom is surprisingly rustic yet had a nice modern twist which is a nice change compared to all the industrial style taproom in Calgary. Had a fight of their core beers and a sample of their whiskey that they made with the leftover mash. Really tasty and their infused blood orange beer is amazing. Menu has all the staples plus some cool added twists. Pretty cool that they serve fresh housemade chicharrons. Worth the drive to visit if in the area.
Very nice venue! The atmosphere is incredible with a small town Alberta feel with over-the-top friendly staff, incredibly prepared food, and some great beer choices! I loved that the staff was knowledgeable about the beer and cocktails. Will definitely be back soon!
very good service this evening. Brisket sandwich was very moist and filling. Nice to see how they implement there brews into the food. Reasonable prices. Have been there before and will go back.
Good place for local craft beer. Atmosphere is super quaint however went with just my husband and son and there was an 18% gratuity service charge already put on the bill for the three of us. Waitress didn't say anything and we ended pay another 18% tip on the top of that. Not impressed when wait staff doesn't mention that.
We had a group of ten out to the half hitch and had a great time. I had a steak sandwich, which was the Wednesday night special, and it was really good. Very tender and cooked just right. I loved the couple of onion rings they add as garnish. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich, and it was excellent. I'd order it next time. The place was nice and clean, they had the hockey game on the big screen, and the service was really good. Prices for food hover around either side of the $20 mark which seems a little steep for things like burgers, but I can't say anything bad about the quality of the food. All in all, a great spot to hang out.
