“Bought a new dishwasher here. Giving 3 stars because the dishwasher is fantastic and we got an awesome deal. Cant give 5 stars as everything outside of that sucked. Delivery was strange- just some guy in his pickup truck? Our dishwasher got snowed on and needed time to dry off. The sales guy originally told us he would have to charge us for delivery, even though we were within the 50km delivery radius. They told us delivery would be between 12-2, and the dishwasher arrived at 3. I think they could stand to be a little more organized and professional over at this lowes.”

“it was nice to walk in the doors and not be hounded by sales reps. one nice gentleman did come by and introduce himself and he called himself Dennis the Menace which was nice to see that he had a sense of humor! once he introduced himself he did let us look around the store and when we were ready we looked for him. that was nice to be able to browse the store at our own leisure and not be interrupted. when we were finished looking and found what we were looking for Dennis did have to do some leg work to see if the items were in stock and if so when we could pick up the items in question. the items that we could take with us he made sure that the wonderful young man in the warehouse packaged them quite nicely and helped load up the goods that we could take home at that moment. the young man in the warehouse was quite polite and displayed a gentlemanly behaviour. he was willing to help in any way possible which I also noticed when he was helping with another couple who purchased some rugs before us. it was great news that the store had a 22% discount and also gave away a free gift which was quite awesome if I say so myself. Dennis was quite funny when he gave us the free gift as he was testing the waters in a humorous way and said it is $100 and you can get it for $50. I laughed and said that his sign is misleading if it stated free and you wanted me to pay. we had quite the chuckle!! we did get the gift for free by the way. the store was very well laid out and it was nice that they had lemon water, coffee and treats (not that I needed the treats!). we will continue to go back when we are looking for something in particular. thanks.
