Really pretty area to go down to the river or walk around in the woods.
Great day out as well as for camping. Quiet and peaceful
This provincial park and campground are well maintained. It seems small but has a lot of water taps and outhouses, more than most campgrounds. There is a decent playground too. The day use areas are small but the creek is perfect because it's slow moving. Group shelters are clean and big.
Pretty typical older campground that's more suitable for smaller units. Some sites oddly have the power post on the door side..
The park is a good midway point between Edmonton and Calgary, making it an excellent place to stop and stretch your legs. The creek seems very fun to float down as well. Amenities such as picnic tables are available close to the river. But be advised, parking is very limited.
