I thought it was pretty grand of the Stadium authorities to turn the stadium facilities into a shelter, I haven't researched it but I assume it's a temporary thing. As I watched the people by the door last night I looked up in an odd direction and directly in my line of sight was the giant torch, notedly with no flame - being a torch. It stood tall and proud, reaching towards the dark sky.
Enjoyed going to Eskimos home game in the past. Didn't matter whether I was cheering the home team or the visitors. Never sit on the West side. The Sun hits everything & everyone which makes it really hot to watch the game. Sat on the East end. Much better. Came to the Stadium in 94 when the Rolling Stones came to the city. Awesome time. 👍👍
Visited this stadium after driving up from Calgary for the Canada v Costa Rica World Cup Qualifier soccer game. The stadium itself was super busy, 48.6k people that night. It was super busy. They had 3 lineups all entering from the same area. I'm not sure if this is normal or if they perhaps thought it was not going to be as busy as it was. The stadium itself could benefit from more clear concessions. Some lines only sold food. Some only alcohol. The washrooms were super busy and seemed like there wasn't enough. It was a great atmosphere, and the grounds themselves looked well maintained. This is the 3rd largest stadium I've been to. Thanks Commonwealth for an overall decent time.
The change over is beautiful. Getting 2 help a little was awsome. Would recommend this 2 everyone
Green and Gold owned the lions. Great game. Been a while since I've attended a game and can't believe the beer is now $9.50 a can. The game was great and the fire works after were wonderful.
