Beautiful area. It's odd that there is no park information or orientation in the parking lot, and there don't seem to be any officially marked trails.
Surprisingly stunning valley that is well worth a trip! Was fairly busy in a long weekend, but we could still find parking. Easy to ramble up and down the valley bottom through classic Alberta coulee landscapes
We loved the scenery. It was like a mini Grand Canyon. The topography is beautiful. There are many trails. They were not marked , but easy to go any which way and not lose our way back to the parking lot. The toilets , picnic tables and fire pits were well taken care of. We went the first week of June 2021. And all the wild flowers were in bloom. The cacti and Juniper were thriving. We spoke to a couple of people, boating and paddle boarding down to the bridge about 15 km down stream. They mentioned how much they loved floating and paddling their way down and that it took about 2 to 2.5 hrs. I think we might bring our canoe next trip and take a paddle ourselves! There were people boating, biking, and hiking. Dogs are to be on leash. Highly recommended the trip!
This is a beautiful spot. Amazing scenery. Nice walking. Not too much infrastructure so take everything with you - there is no town or store nearby. Take lots of water.
Had a wonderful time during a rainy day. It was really muddy but the view was still amazing. Landscape was so nice but we could not hike due to the rain. Day use only and no camping is far as we could see. Toilets available.
