“Moved to Okotoks a few months ago and was looking for a new hair salon. Nu-You has great reviews and I was looking for something new as I had not been to a hair dresser in 5 months. I came in with hair past my shoulders and very washed out fashion blue mixed in with my natural grey, some of the blue had turned to a yellowy-green, which Jessica noticed right away. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but, at the time, I thought I was in my 50s so I should figure out a way to embrace my age. Jessica suggested we go back to my natural colour so the grey could grow out naturally and she would cut the extra length off to clean up the look. This all sounded great until I was home and tried styling it a few days and just couldn’t figure out what to do. So I went back and showed her a picture of me 13 years ago and said, the cut wasn’t what I wanted and could she maybe cut more off so I could do the old style I used to have. Not only did she wash, cut and style my hair again but she didn’t act upset or blame me or even charge me for the extra work, and this time, it was perfect. I can’t even begin to explain how much younger I feel and the compliments are daily…on the colour and on the cut. Friends and co-workers keep looking at me and making comments that I don’t look like the same person, and my husband can’t believe how much I look like I did when we met 10 years ago.
