This is such a great way to see country you wouldn’t on foot or driving!! Ashley was our guide and she was so knowledgeable, definitely knows the land and wasn’t afraid to go off the trail. They have horses for all levels from never ridden before to experienced. The horses were calm, surefooted, and smooth to ride. We did the two hour ride and it was so fun, went around (and through) a lake. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back!

My experience at Alpine Stables in Waterton Park on the 1-hour ride tour was nothing short of magical! From start to finish, this journey was a harmonious blend of natural beauty, expert guidance, and pure exhilaration for the entire family.

But what truly elevated the experience was witnessing the beautiful landscape and mountain views. My girls loved it! This was their very first time riding a horse, and they were led by none other than the owner's daughter and the owner himself. Their patience and enthusiasm made the girls feel at ease, and they couldn't stop talking about it long after the ride was over.

I had the privilege of riding Major, a magnificent horse who seemed to understand my every command. It was a testament to the exceptional training and care that the horses at Alpine Stables receive. Major added an extra layer of enjoyment to the ride, making it an even more memorable experience.

Our guides, with their wealth of knowledge and passion for the area, wove tales that immersed us in the land's history and beauty. The Elk heard will be coming in soon on Peak Rut, which I am told is a sight to see (Hundreds of them). They are the only ones allow to ride through.

We had an amazing time, our tour guide was very friendly and told us stories of the places she took us to. The ride was 2 hours long. The horses we were on were very gentle. Also, our guide made sure we were comfortable on our saddles.

We had a great 2 hour ride at Alpine. Staff were friendly and super helpful. We are not experienced riders and they made sure to give us a run down on what to do and not to. The walk took us through woodland, down by the lake and up the side of the mountain for epic views of the lake and mountains. Horses (Karl and Nelly) were the real stars. Definitely check this stable out- just make sure you book ahead of time so they can accommodate you.

Took our boys (6 & 8) horseback riding for the first time on Mother’s Day. Scenery was amazing, of course. Very nice facilities. The lady who helped set us up was very friendly and the guides were excellent as well. Oh! The horses! Awesome horses too! Can’t wait to go back.
