“The visitor centre has a lot of interactive areas where one can learn more about the mountains, the animals, birds, plants and all living creatures. There’s a small space with a 4 minute video on the night sky with a voice over on the documentary on how the First Nations read the sky and relate to certain. Stars. Outside there are more interactive animal sculptures with info. Overall, it’s a visitor centre that caters very well to both children and adults. Worth visiting!”

“Amazing experience! We had such a fantastic time enjoying the views and relaxing on the top deck of the boat. We went in the morning (10:00am) and got to see a bald eagle as we entered through to Montana. Staff were amazing as well and very informative (definitely laughed a lot). There was so much to see and it was just such a beautiful sight to take in. Highly recommend for anyone who has never been to Waterton Park before.”

“My experience at Alpine Stables in Waterton Park on the 1-hour ride tour was nothing short of magical! From start to finish, this journey was a harmonious blend of natural beauty, expert guidance, and pure exhilaration for the entire family. But what truly elevated the experience was witnessing the beautiful landscape and mountain views. My girls loved it! This was their very first time riding a horse, and they were led by none other than the owner's daughter and the owner himself. Their patience and enthusiasm made the girls feel at ease, and they couldn't stop talking about it long after the ride was over. I had the privilege of riding Major, a magnificent horse who seemed to understand my every command. It was a testament to the exceptional training and care that the horses at Alpine Stables receive. Major added an extra layer of enjoyment to the ride, making it an even more memorable experience. Our guides, with their wealth of knowledge and passion for the area, wove tales that immersed us in the land's history and beauty. The Elk heard will be coming in soon on Peak Rut, which I am told is a sight to see (Hundreds of them). They are the only ones allow to ride through. If you're seeking an adventure that captures the essence of Waterton Park's natural beauty and is suitable for the whole family, Alpine Stables' 1-hour ride tour is an absolute must.
