A few minutes walk to the city center
Supermarkets, souvenir shops, liquor shops, restaurants, famous shops, etc. Everything was there, but it was very quiet and relaxing.
Amazing hosts, amazing place, and amazing experience. Best place to stay in Banff.
8 members of the mountain walking group took care of me for 8 days
Every day, I walked around with the guide, and when I got home, I went to the supermarket.
Procure vegetables and drinks, cook food brought from Japan
I had a lot of fun.
The day I came back from Skokie Lodge, I really felt like I was home
As a relief, I was able to relax from the bottom of my heart.
Being able to speak Japanese, having a delicious Japanese breakfast, being sent off and greeted with a friendly smile,
The most important reason why the trip ended well, such as the attention to detail
I was staying here. BBQ was also delicious. thank you very much.
From 2018.7.12 to 7.16, 3 family members stayed for 4 nights.
The owner is a Japanese couple, and they provide various information such as recommended trekking points and restaurants.
You can see that they are trying to provide as much hospitality as possible so that guests can have a comfortable stay.
After coordinating with other guests, we were assigned a villa-type guest room in a separate building.
The bedroom was a standard size, and the LDK was spacious enough for 3 people to relax comfortably, so I was able to live the same life as at home.
The kitchen is not only equipped with cooking utensils and tableware, but also a huge dishwasher, so it will come in handy when you get tired of eating out and make a meal.
You can also ask them to wash your clothes, so you don't have to bring too many clothes.
It is also a good impression that the breakfast is served alternately between Japanese and Western dishes.
If you leave for sightseeing early in the morning, you can feel their consideration by having a bento box (sandwich) made for you instead of breakfast.
Beds are made and cleaned every day, even if you stay for several nights.
Banff was a nice place, and if I have the opportunity to go again, I will stay there without hesitation.
By the way, all the other guests (6-7 people) were also Japanese.
We stayed here while skiing in the Canadian Rockies. There is a discount rate in winter, so it's a good deal. It was convenient because it was possible to walk to the center of Banff and supermarkets immediately. The breakfast was delicious and I was impressed by the hospitality of the owner couple. I want to stay here again.
