Beautiful centre. Really great design. Uses parking lot of the nearby strip mall so its a small walk to access the building - very well designed. The entrance is very welcoming with bathrooms right at the front door (very modern bathrooms and clean too!) In another set of doors to the lobby with a large info centre and a customer service style counter just beyond that. Stop in if you are in the area. It's worth a look!
Nice place to visit and get gondola ride and visit beyond. See the beauty of Alberta. Lake Louise Visitor Centre is a popular information hub located in Banff National Park, Canada. It serves as a gateway for visitors to explore the stunning natural beauty of Lake Louise and its surroundings. The center provides valuable information about the area's attractions, hiking trails, wildlife, and safety guidelines. You can obtain maps, brochures, and learn about any park regulations or current conditions. It's a great starting point for your adventure in the breathtaking Canadian Rockies.
We got a lot of great information and you can buy your national park tickets. Use the washroom and freshen up before heading up to the mountains and lakes.
Park and ride at this visitor center and take the bus to the lake.
Their website is very confusing. You can buy tickets from Parks Canada website at 8am 2 days before you want to go.
On the website, you choose your destination and time. However, regardless of whether you choose Lake Louise or Lake Moraine, you can freely go back and forth between the visitor center, Lake Louise, and Lake Moraine using the pass you receive when you check in.
You will need to show this every time you board the bus, so don't lose it. Buses run every 20 minutes. The park and ride can get very busy, so if you want to park nearby, I recommend getting your bus ticket early in the morning.
