“The team at Lake Louise Medical are saints, honestly. I travelled pretty far to recieve care for womens health issues I was experiencing for a long time. Arriving here I was met with the most compassionate, gracious and generous care from everyone in the clinic. For over 2 weeks Dr Desnoyers made sure I had everything I needed and was okay in a difficult time while offering support to the people impacted by the fire at Lake Louise. “Not only is Mark Heard an amazingly friendly doctor he is a miracle worker on knees. After my right knee was butchered from 3 prior surgeries on my meniscus and Acl by a not so thoughtful Doctor, I got referred to Dr. Heard and i couldn't be more thankful. Dr. Heard took a look at my knee assets it, saw that my previous donor graph was all wrong and didn't take place, and shouldn't of been done that way to begin with. He took my patellar tendon and used it for my ACL instead . He also did my left knee when I eventually blew it out the same way, and they have felt great ever since. I have had no problems with them. Of coarse the occasional soreness but that's normal. He was so personable was able to nail down the reasoning why I have such bad knees and able to suggest what I needed to do different to avoid further injuries. with his surgeries, Im not limited to what I can do so much as I was before. He is amazing. I recommend him to anyone with knee injuries that still want to live their lives not stressing about their knees constantly, to people who were active prior to injury and want to be active after reconstruction with little to no problems. Dr. Heard..... I mean it would be a pleasure to see you again. But I don't think I'll have too. Thanks for giving me, semi strong legs again:) you rock.”

“Nothing but compliments for this great facility! We spent most of our day swimming & climbing, and we had a great time. The pool is supernice & clean, and they have lots of toys for the kids to have fun with. The climbing room was excellent, and big shout out to Will who was a great & helpful instructor! “Every time I'm in Banff I always come here for dinner or lunch. The view is amazing at the restaurant. If you're there when the tables are set on the balcony I highly recommend that area to sit. The food is always perfect. Drinks are amazing especially their homemade lemonade is 100% perfect. I must say don't forget to order their desserts. They are really delicious. Price wise this is much better than any other 5 star dining. Can't compare the food quality,price and view to anywhere else in the area. The pastry store also sells really nice deserts other than the restaurant's.”

I have been learning so much from each class and everyone presenting have such a kind and welcoming energy about them. It is a safe environment full of knowledge people and like minds wanting to learn and grow. I highly recommend the Banff Wellness Retreat for anyone of any age!
