“We visited Lacombe from Calgary and this was such a lovely park and so pleasant to have a picnic at. We were surprised to find a public ping pong table and enjoyed it very much! Definitely wouldn’t be able to find this in a big city. Love how well maintained the area is.”

“We loved it!! Quiet little area, clean facilities, super friendly folks that run it..very accommodating..thank you for delivering wood to our site! We were in a cozy corner of the field with wild raspberries, yum! Yes you can hear traffic on the highway - during the day..did not bother us at night, though. Pet friendly, too! Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“Great campground if you have and like kids. A lot of free range kids coming into our site and playing with our kids stuff with no parents in sight. Our kids loved it. The facilities are great. Too many lazy parents, can't fault the kids if they aren't taught better. Four days was more than enough time here for us but I can certainly see why people would want to stay longer. The ice cream shack is awesome and they sell food too.”

“Can only speak of the mini golf course and the main building, and all was great. We stopped in for some firewood while camping nearby but also went back to play some mini golf with the kids before the long drive back to Calgary. The staff were amazingly friendly and the equipment and golf course itself are well cared for. The 18 holes are fun and challenging, add great for kids and adults alike. Three main building has a selection of drinks and ice cream to keep the kids happy as well. Washrooms are very clean and well stocked, and parking is ready and plentiful. Great little pit stop if you happen to be in the area.”

“Nice lake to spend half a day or a day either. There are flush toilets. There is a sandy beach which is huge and shallow, very good for kids. Also there are picnic tables. It is good idea to bring a good sun shade or canopy as trees are not to many and big close to the beach.”
