“The chicken is deliciously juicy inside, perfectly seasoned and crisp on the outside. The skewered squid legs with a sweet mayo based sauce were a perfect mix of sweet, chewy and tender. The pickled radish had a nice blend of vinegar and sugar. The past couple times I tried takeout, tonight was our first dine-in at the restaurant. I washed my meal down a boozy Soju, which to me tasted like vodka mixed with sake, in a good way! They also have Sapporo on tap. The server (owner possibly?) was amazing and welcoming. What a great spot!”

In the time of Covid, we believed the only way get married and keep people safe was an outdoor wedding and tent reception. Nobody got sick! “The food was good it was the service that was lacking. From the moment I walked through the door I felt like I wasn't wanted. Six waitresses immediately turned their backs and were looking over their shoulders like they were trying to decide who was going to be stuck serving me. I almost left before anyone got to my table. No one asked if I was dining alone, I was not asked if I noticed the specials nor told about them. I was introduced to a new team member who was shadowing my waitress as it was here second day and she shadowed long enough for the first introduction. When I eventually got asked if I would like a refill of my water they just refilled my original glass which I believe is not standard practice. I went in with full intentions of leaving a great tip and had a hard time justifying leaving one. The couple who arrived after me received much better service from the waitress in training who was all of a sudden on her own. I usually love eating here after a long day. Not sure I will be bad.”

“I love coffee! It is hard to imagine as it was a different time, but my Mom used to give me a cup of coffee when she had guests. It was a small cup and had lots of milk but nonetheless, I have been drinking coffee for over 6 decades!! In Panama, I had the pleasure with meeting a woman who judges coffee yearly for international coffee producers. She taught me how to best brew & test coffee. Did I mention I love coffee? This Christmas my daughter gave me coffee from Rebel Bean. I absolutely LOVE the Christmas Blend. It is rich and flavourful. It is consistently a GREAT cup coffee. You know the one where you take a sip and you say to yourself, "Mmm, this is is a good cup of coffee." Yup, that's how I feel about this coffee. I just wish I didn't have to wait til next Dec. “As a Christmas gift my wife got me a cooking day with Stephanie and my son and a baking day with Stephanie and my daughter. They were amazing. She is a true teacher who spends time sharing the intricacies of her craft with the kids that she works with. The cost of having her come is VERY reasonable. I got lots of great pictures, we had GREAT food and a wonderful time. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended!”
