“The chicken is deliciously juicy inside, perfectly seasoned and crisp on the outside. The skewered squid legs with a sweet mayo based sauce were a perfect mix of sweet, chewy and tender. The pickled radish had a nice blend of vinegar and sugar. The past couple times I tried takeout, tonight was our first dine-in at the restaurant. I washed my meal down a boozy Soju, which to me tasted like vodka mixed with sake, in a good way! They also have Sapporo on tap. The server (owner possibly?) was amazing and welcoming. What a great spot!”

“The food was good it was the service that was lacking. From the moment I walked through the door I felt like I wasn't wanted. Six waitresses immediately turned their backs and were looking over their shoulders like they were trying to decide who was going to be stuck serving me. I almost left before anyone got to my table. No one asked if I was dining alone, I was not asked if I noticed the specials nor told about them. I was introduced to a new team member who was shadowing my waitress as it was here second day and she shadowed long enough for the first introduction. When I eventually got asked if I would like a refill of my water they just refilled my original glass which I believe is not standard practice. I went in with full intentions of leaving a great tip and had a hard time justifying leaving one. The couple who arrived after me received much better service from the waitress in training who was all of a sudden on her own. I usually love eating here after a long day. Not sure I will be bad.”
