Penhold RV Park

This campground is a little hidden gem, for sure!!! Although there isn't a ton to "do" at the camp site, there is a park not far away. Very close to all amenities. VERY clean! Has a shower facility and laundry at no cost. Very clean campground. Nice view of the fields and a little water reservoir that makes for nice pictures! Overall, a great little place to visit!

It was a nice spot for our first adventure. It was a clean green site, firepit was big, washrooms/showers were nice and clean. The gentlman who looks after the grounds came by and welcomed us. I think this is s great campground overall. Thank you!

Great little campground, nice lake and fields. It will be a 5 star when all the trees mature.

This is a very new campground, opening for its first full season in 2019. While the trees have a lot of growing to do, the sites are appropriately sized, level, and fully serviced. They're doing everything they can to make campers feel welcome and ensure they have all amenities. A beautiful FREE shower and laundry facility helps to wash away grit from a day of fun. About 6 minutes from Red Deer's Gasoline Alley, this is a great, accessible, community campground. Poor reviews are likely due to later than expected grand opening date.
