“I will not be back. Only one staff member who was overwhelmed with the amount of people trying to golf (she was trying). Took 30 minutes to get a beer. Finally some new staff came in and things seemed to settle down. Then they wouldn't honor the senior pricing because I was not a senior (I was with my dad). Interesting. It's the whole reason we were playing golf on a Wednesday afternoon. So, bad and expensive experience. Went to the other golf place on the north end and had a much better time.”

“I can’t say enough about this place! I have been to the other half of the dinner, an amazing Italian restaurant (forno) and the service is incredible on both sides. All the waitresses and chef came and spoke with me. They made me feel comfortable and welcome. The dinning experience was incredible and the food was amazing. Some of the best pizza I have had for a great price and amazing breakfast at Hash. So worth the drive, experience and time! Definitely a must visit/eat!”

“We had a girls night out and decided to return to Forno for a lovely dinner. This is a spot we have been to a number of times - and generally speaking, both the food quality and service have been fantastic. Tonight the food quality was as expected - delicious, filling and flavourful! The atmosphere was warm and intimate, chefs were flipping pizza dough and you could smell the wood burning in the oven. It’s such a cool experience! Service tonight was not as great as we have come to expect. I’m guessing they may have been short staffed due to weather being cold and snowy, however even when our sever did come around, he seemed absentminded and a little too “fake” nice that the experience wasn’t genuine. Poor guy also had some body odour that overpowered the table when he stopped by for check-ins. I recognize that sometimes people can’t control this, but I’m sharing the honest and full experience. 🤷🏻♀️ All this aside, I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s unassuming given being so close to the highway turnoff and nestled in the hotel row. Go to relax and unwind and enjoy delicious food!”

“Stayed here for a tournament weekend with our team. The hotel was fully booked. The staff were absolutely amazing. They went far above everything for all guests. Breakfast was good, 6-10am. Big room. The front end manager Lindsay was the best. She was so friendly, accommodating and great with our rowdy players. I would highly recommend this hotel, and we’ve stayed in many over the years. 10/10”

“Ordered 50m sheets of drywall as a gift for my son in Sylvan Lake . Ben gave me a small discount as it was a gift and delivery charge was very good. Delivery guys decided not to pop window to put drywall in basement but instead humped it down the awkward stairs to the basement. Thanks to the delivery guys - That is service!!!!!. Next time I am in Red Deer I'll try to get over there to thank those guys in person.”
