“Stayed here for a tournament weekend with our team. The hotel was fully booked. The staff were absolutely amazing. They went far above everything for all guests. Breakfast was good, 6-10am. Big room. The front end manager Lindsay was the best. She was so friendly, accommodating and great with our rowdy players. I would highly recommend this hotel, and we’ve stayed in many over the years. 10/10”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sandman Hotel Red Deer Alberta not because of the clean rooms but because of the people!!! Holly was incredibly kind and charismatic young lady who made conversation easy going and relaxed. Davis was an amazingly unique individual with a great sense of reliability and overall good vibe. I enjoyed talking to them both as they both provided an excellent atmosphere within the lobby. Davis was able to provide me with information and Holly reassured me of the essay and simple process the hotel operates through. 10/10 experience… 11/10 customer service, again from Holly and Davis.”

“Beautiful! Trees are growing and providing shade. Full-service hook-ups for a very reasonable price. Lots are gravel, some are longer than others, so make sure you know the length of your unit. The fellow taking reservations has a great sense of humour! Very clean! Close to a busy street, but the traffic noise did not bother us. It is a year-round campground. We will stay here again if in the area.”

It's somewhere to put your head and have a great sleep. We paid less than somewhere else we stayed and enjoyed ourselves much more here.”

“Spacious large sites, trails are awesome for exploring, washrooms and showers were top notch, clean, running water, flush toilets, luxury away from home. Didn't seem like a provincial park. No real accessible beach that we found without going down a cliff. Firewood bags really small”

“The course and people are perfect!! I would give 5 stars except I’m not a fan of cart path only for carts. If carts were mandatory, it would be better but walkers behind us had to wait and we were waiting for the group in front of us. We were at 9:20 on Aug 12 and the group behind us were hitting into us and beyond. In my younger days, that would have been a serious encounter. We finished in 4 hours but never saw the refreshment cart. I still love the course and the people and definitely will be back. Loved the quick greens.”

“My Husband & I recently stayed at La Solitude B&B and Spa during Renovations at our home and what a delight it was. Micheline & Ron are the most wonderful, friendly and generous hosts, they went above and beyond to make our stay so special. They have a beautiful home set in the country, just outside of Red Deer, offering a delightful B&B and Spa. Our room, with a very comfortable king sized bed, gorgeous linens and private ensuite was immaculately clean and well decorated with such attention to detail. Both Micheline & Ron gave us our privacy combined with interesting conversations in equal measure. We enjoyed many evenings by the wood burning fireplace that they, on colder days, had on for our arrival in the evening. The Spa is amazing and we both enjoyed an excellent massage during our stay. Their little dog Maggie is adorable and greeted us every morning. Although we could not be in our own home during the renovations this was as close to "home" as could be. We highly recommend both the Spa & B&B. Thank you both for making our stay so enjoyable, we miss you already. Liz & Bob Bloos Red Deer, AB.”
