Sand Castle Steakhouse

The food was amazing...lots of great flavors. The server was fantastic and fun and let us eat at our own pace... not trying to rush us thru. Then the chefs came out and chatted with us which was a fun culinary experience. Just great!

The daily soups I have had here so far are exquisite to say the least. Great home style cooking. I would recommend this as a "must have"

Being new to Sylvan Lake we only recently discovered this little gem which is located further down Lakeshore from the more popular tourist end with its various pubs and bars. This is a higher end venue with above average service and quality. It's well worth finding and once you go there you very well will find yourself going back. The Greek food and steaks are to die for.

The location on Lakeshore Drive just on the edge of downtown was ideal. The interior design and atmosphere of the restaurant was pretty average though. Not that it was bad, just nothing special to distinguish itself from anyplace else.

The service was just a bit above average – although compared to the level of service at most places in Sylvan Lake, it might be the best in town. 😊

My meal was a tasty medium rare New York strip. The only downside was that the steak was quite thin which resulted in it being medium rare instead of the blue rare that I ordered. Everything else on my plate was acceptable, but not what I would call exceptional.

Overall, the Sand Castle Steakhouse delivers a decent meal at a decent price. And that’s not half bad.
