Excellent knowledgeable staff, excellent selection generally but especially so after boat days. Fresh panini, v good ice-cream cones, and their pizza is to die for. Def worth a visit if you come to West Bamfield BC Canada.
I love this place, as they are up on their game with all their stock of great food and product lines. Great addition to the boardwalk side of Bamfield.
We visited this grocery and general store just after disembarking from the MV Frances Barkley boat in Bamfield. Bamfield is a remote coastal town on the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC, and this store is probably the only grocery store in town. We bought some packaged snacks and drinks. Local souvenirs are also available. They probably get all their supplies shipped by the Lady Rose Marine Services who operates the MV Frances Barkley.
Loved taking The Lady Rose up the Banfield Inlet and believe me it is indeed worth the 84.00 round trip take your own lunch and water tho' The Lady Rose dose have a menu and a variety of eats.
When the boat docks in Bamfield passengers are given a hour to walk about, I'm going to round it up and say there I'd beauty in them there Hills ...
Oh and yes dogs are allowed it's no cars just walk on .
