(July 3, 2020, 2:46 pm)This is a very good concept in the small coastal town of Bamfield on the very edge of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. The streets of west Bamfield are not paved and the only other means of transport are the private ATVs run by the lodges which give you a very bumpy ride. So the Water Taxi picks you up from the Harbour and drops you to your lodge running along the Bamfield Inlet between east and west Bamfield.

This makes visiting West Bamfield manageable, and it's also nice to know you're supporting a local business.
