Upnit Lodge & Marina

Early season. Single room with king size bed. Bathroom very small. Shared kitchen dining area ok but dishwasher full and hadn't been run for a while, some items not clean after 2 runs. Floats in disrepair need work, side board missing. Fish cleaning station leaning away from drain no scrub brush.

Went for happy hour. Great service and food. Great views.

Kingfisher Marina is also referred to as Upnit Lodge and is owned by the Huu-ay-aht First Nations (HFN)

Stayed 3 nights over the September long weekend. Came in by boat.
Had a fantastic time. Everyone was so helpful from the people that took my reservation, answered my email questions, met us at the dock to give us our room key and the people at the front desk (at the motel) who provided us with information and more coffee for the room.

The room was clean, nicely furnished and had a great view of the harbour on it's own balcony.

Very comfortable bed , microwave, fridge, dishes etc all included. Even a barbeque on the common deck overlooking the water.

This was way way better than the regular "fish camp" feel of some accommodation in Bamfield. Whether you are there to fish (we were) or looking for a quiet getaway, the Upnit Lodge is the place to stay.

We have already reserved for next year!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean, spacious rooms, great views of the harbour. Loved it!

Door didn't lock at first...but manager fixed right away. Little to no internet in room. Not a big deal if there was a tv for later on in the evening. It rained the whole day and night so a little bit of entertainment would've been nice for the kids. Great view. No map to place and very tight parking.
