Sproat Lake Landing Resort

Let me begin by stating that I don't provide many reviews, unless the experience was horrible, or amazing- and this was definitely the latter. On October 14, 2023, my husband and I were married and hosted our reception at the Sproat Lake Landing Resort. We hosted 30 people, and it was nothing short of a terrific experience. We worked closely with the Manager, Sam, who assisted us greatly with bringing everything together. His vast experience and knowledge in event planning, combined with his easygoing attitude made what can be a stressful undertaking, effortless and enjoyable. The restaurant was perfect for our small wedding, our guests loved being able to enjoy the deck overlooking the lake throughout the evening. The food can often make or break a wedding, and the food was excellent (the lobster mac n' cheese side was loved by all). Everything was perfectly cooked, and the right temperature (cold and hot).
We cannot say enough good things about the Staff at the resort. Sooo very friendly and they were completely focused on providing a memorable experience - and it was. April and Amber especially made the night fun for us and our guests. Many of our guests stayed at the resort, as did we, and the rooms were very clean, well designed, comfortable, and the views are spectacular. It was very convenient for our guests to stay at the resort. We have received feedback from our guests, and not a single person had anything but high praise for the entire experience. Many spoke of the possibility of hosting their future special events at the resort. We would not hesitate to host another event here!

Popped in for a beverage and a snack. Ordered the nachos with pulled pork. The serving size was so large that the two of us hardly made a dent and we required a pizza box to fit the leftovers. Absolutely delicious, view was incredible and our server was amazing!!

Beautiful, clean hotel with excellent amenities and breathtaking view. The robes and delicious coffee made the experience, to a guest it’s all in the details! The restaurant Drinkwater is really delicious as well. Super friendly staff and warm cabin style decor. Will be back for a stay and to eat for sure!

This place, what can I say?!? Amazing staff, unreal food, beautiful location. Stayed here for my son's hockey tourney in Port Alberni. It's maybe 15 minutes outside of town if you drive slowly, but wow is it worth it! The rooms are fantastic and the silence is piercing! We had a late game and they kept the restaurant open late for us, AND! gave us a late check-out the next day. Highly recommend, will come back for sure. So much nicer than staying in town! If you are here on Sunday night, you simply must have the prime rib dinner!
