(August 25, 2023, 6:08 pm)Outstanding donuts - best on the island. Super friendly staff and a gorgeous setting on the water to sit and munch. Great way to spend an afternoon or evening. Lots of selection - some classical favorites and some specialty; try the almond donut, or the root beer glazed!

Their sign labeled “the best donut on Vancouver island”. And it’s well-deserved absolutely!
We got a half dozen- maple bacon, pineapple coconut, salty caramel, cinnamon sugar, maple walnut and almond almond- every flavour and every bites are delightful! Plus, the owner are extremely friendly and passionate! Highly recommended their donuts!
(August 20, 2022, 9:48 pm)Can’t drive through Port Alberni without a stop at The Donut Shop. So many yummy flavours to choose from it’s hard to decide - especially when your favourite is sold out :0( I do LOVE peanut butter however!!!!! Did you know you can order ahead (before noon day if) and they will set them aside for you! LOVE IT!!!
They are very flavourful and fresh!
I highly recommend the stop!
