“Washrooms are located at the start -> 2hrs -> Lake -> Panorama Ridge (Not so clean and smells) Any cars can be driven till the rubble creek parking lot. Reservation is a must on the website. The level of hiking is Easy ~ Moderate; but it’s a looooong way. When you feel like there is no end, you are eventually there. Be aware that the first 2hrs are ONLY CONTINUOUS ASCENDING (no flat or descending) ZIGZAG hiking, which was quite boring for me because there is no view point on the way up. We left at 7:30am and came back down at 7:15pm. We stopped at the Garibaldi Lake and spent 1hr of break and lunch then continued till the Panorama Ridge spent more time there before coming back down. For this reason, arrive early if you are planning to Hike till the peak! I was quite afriad of being around the ‘Bear Zone’ but didnt encounter any this day, but still, be alerted, stay around with your friends or have a bear bell hanging on your backpack. Overall, great experience, great challenge, breathtaking scenery and freezing water. Yes, you can swim if you like the cold. Advice: - Take enough Water and light snacks (I regret so much having to bring a lot of snacks and food which made my backpack so heavy) - For Beginners, Obviously its hot when you are hiking cuz you sweat; but when you are at the lake or peak you may be cold. Take extra hoodie or jacket.”

“Visited the Lovely Water Lake in this Probincial Park. Some people claim that they can hike that 6.5km trail in 90min, but it is not for the average hiker. Generally it takes about 5 to 7hrs to get to the Hut. It is a steep trail, hard to see it in many places, you need to look for the reflective markers along the way. Have preloaded topographic maps in you GPS/maartphone. I met a couple who shared their survival story after the man fell into the waterfall while trying to get some water. He managed to grab on something about 200meters down while the woman called 911. Do not hike in this Park like going into a regular Park. Many of these trails require boat/kayak/canoe access to cross the river, then advanced hiking amd spatial orientation skills. Never hike at night. Cellphone service is limitted above 1000m elevation. Carry bear spray or similar devices. You need to book the Hut in advance. The Hut is not open for the public in the winter. Do not hike there in the winter hoping that you will find shelter, the Park employees are locking that Hut and you won't find a way in. For those who have more stamina and who are skilled climbers, there are a number of trails (someplaces are hard to see) that lead you to various peaks. Weather can chamge dramatically within hours. Watch your knees while hiking down the mountain. No fires allowed in the Park. Check the Park webpage for amenities, information and regulations.”
