Victoria Butterfly Gardens

We went there for tourist in your town it was busy but fun. The staff are friendly and efficient, I would even say well dressed and professional.

The lobby and reception area is bright and spacious and they have some exhibits set up there to entertain the kids as you organize yourself and hang up your jackets. They have an awesome spot for that, a huge coat rack.

After the reception area you head into the main area. It is really nice in there and there really is lots to see. It is one of those places that you have to take your time and look closely at to really appreciate. It has a jungle feel to it and is tropical and humid, it is like taking a quick trip down to the equator.

There are parrots and flamingos as well as many different types of butterfly’s. There are also countless types of plants. The different water fountains and ponds are also quite interesting and make the atmosphere diverse.

This is a most do annually for our family.

This is a fantastic afternoon excursion for the family. From the newly added bug zoo to the wonderfully warm and humid butterfly gardens, we were all entranced. I especially loved the unexpected wide variety of birds amidst the predictably excellent collection of exotic butterflies.

This place is awesome. It’s like stepping into a jungle. So relaxing to hear, touch and smell a little bit of a tropical rainforest. Very educational, informative and interesting. I’ve been here twice now, and the staff are very friendly and interact well with visitors. The parrot was just great.

My husband and I recently took our nine year old son here and we all enjoyed it. The staff were friendly. The insectarium was awesome. We loved all of the the tropical plants. It was neat to see all of the butterflies and birds flying around. It was also quite an educational experience as well. I will definitely go back again sometime and I would recommend checking it out.

We had a wonderful time at the Butterfly Gardens. We took my 15 month old little girl and she had a blast. I love how there is way more to see than just butterflies ???? I would definitely recommend visiting here, just make sure you aren't wearing heavy winter clothing (or wear layers that can be taken off) because it's very warm
