“Willows Beach is a dog walkers dream. Its also fantastic for families with small children. Walking the beach, swimming and sailing in the bay, making sandcastles in the sand. Willows is also the site of a former First Nations village. One of the better beaches in Victoria.”

“A nice little walk around the waterfront with great views. Lots of different birds come to see if you have anything to offer them and you may want to stroll over towards the marina to check out the boats and take some postcard type photos while there. No dogs, bikes or skateboards allowed. It is a pedestrian only walkway.”

“A tiny little native plant garden across from the Oak Bay Beach Hotel. There are lots of memorial benches there to sit on and reflect and enjoy the shade or the sounds of the birds. There is a small pond and not much in bloom when I went but will go back another time of year to see what's happening. It doesn't take long to check it out so worthy of a visit if you need a short time out in nature.”

“Note that many of the images in this listing are not from the exact location Google has marked as McMicking point. Many of the pictures labeled here are taken sightly to the west, where Google has labeled "Kitty Islet" That area has a place to pull over that three or four cars can park at. This area does not have parking.”

“Great place overall, watch out for the skeletons that come out of the ground at night. They're kind of scary, so if you plan on coming at night, bring a sword and shield. If you see an opening in the surrounding trees don't go in, that place leads to the lost woods where you'll probably get lost and become a skull child, or so I've heard from the locals. Also don't forget to stop by Lon Lon Ranch while you're there and pick up some farm-fresh milk, it's absolutely amazing. Also, I'm trying to find directions from here to Hyrule Castle if anyone knows how to get there from here.”

“This is a great little park in Oak Bay. Good playground for the kids along with fastball and baseball games. Good concession when it's open for the ball games. Pretty decent parking and all seems to be maintained really good by the Oak Bay municipality. Playground had always been busy when we have been at this patk.”
