The best south indian food in victoria, very friendly staff. The food feels very special almost like having a homemade meal. I feel like each meal is made for me. The food just doesnt fill our stomachs, but our hearts too. The tea is amazing. I love the entire ambience of the place, but the food has a special feel in my heart. This place has proved that food is a emotion to me.p

This place truly reflects its name. The best south indian food that i have ever tasted in BC so far and by far the best on the Island. Not only the taste of the food but also the service the server made sure that everything is there in the order it should be.

Had an excellent meal tonight - first time to Southern Flavours. For other first timers, recommend the spicy potato Dosa, dry roast beef, chicken pepper curry, and the layered flatbread. We finished with Masala Tea that did a great job mellowing out the heat from the meal. Looking forward to trying some veggie dishes next time.

Must try the fish curry too it’s so yummy.

Kottayam fish curry was choice. Pleasantly spicy and rich white fish. Definitely get one of the 'southern special' offerings if you come here. Sets it apart from the other Indian places in town. Mango lassi was delicious, too. Got some chunks, almost like bubble tea.
