“What an amazing experience for the whole family! We just finished a cruise and learn course with Coopers. The boat was in excellent condition. Our instructor, Omar rocked! Everyone had a blast. He was informative, got all our kids involved, had a great attitude and was just fun to be with. As first time boaters we felt safe the whole time, the course was really hands on, we learned so much! We will definitely take more courses in the future and will definitely charter with Coopers again! Service was great, Dawn was awesome with communications and organizing the whole trip.”

“He has two clean older (1980's) boats at the Sydney dock. Both look in very good condition. His prices are reasonable and he is in a very good, interesting boating area.”

“I cannot recommend Blue Dog Kayaking enough! Both the private lessons I took to work on my roll, as well as the Paddle Canada Level 1 Instructor training course I recently attended have been fantastic experiences. Dave’s passion and enthusiasm for the sport of kayaking sets Blue Dog apart, and is directly responsible for the marked improvement in my paddling skills. I will be back. Thank you!”

“I've booked a whale watching trip with this company twice for when family came to visit, and had positive experiences on both occasions. If a whale isn't seen, customers are given a free spot on another tour. The captains are friendly and knowledgeable, and the small size of the boat makes the experience more intimate and enjoyable. Going from Sidney also means less time is taken up travelling out to where the whales tend to be. I'd encourage anyone based on the Saanich Peninsula to support smaller businesses and book a trip with Sidney Whale Watching!”
