“Great playground. Has a zipline swing that my oldest loves and a play structure made for little children that my youngest enjoys. The sand pit with the "buried eggs" is a lot of fun for my littles too. I would give it 5 stars but parking is tough to find and it's only fenced on 3 sides... why have gates on one side with a whole other side wide open?”

“My concert band and I just did a concert here and while the park was absolutely beautiful, whoever was in charge of removing the gate from the band dome didn't do their job. we had to perform standing on the grass in front of the benches which sucked, as I'm a French horn player. but yeah, other than that, the park itself was beautiful and there were giant herons nesting in the canopy all around us which was neat”

“Favourite!!!!! Very popular spot for locals and tourists. Wonderful vistas, lots of bird life, plenty of dogs, and sunsets to die for. Watch the local pigeons get fed, huge kites flying, or paragliders when the wind is right. Walk, bike, or drive here. Cook and Moss streets nearby. Beacon Hill Park is a few minutes walk away. Ross Bay cemetery, a fabulous place, is just up the road.”

“A must! If rocky beaches with perfectly smoothed rocks are your thing, then this is the right place for you! You can see Washington state across the water on clear days. BUT be mindful that sometimes your cellphone signal can wander over to the US side. Have had roaming charges so now I turn it onto airplane mode.”
