Peter is a skillful master at guiding his students in meditation. He is calm and sure in introducing mindfulness; a practise which centres & grounds mental focus to a single breath. He guides each individual to that awareness, and then gently, & carefully guides each person to stay in that single moment , and to extend it, through simple breathing exercises. It sounds simple, but is not so easy, The guidance of one who understands so well the distractions, and so ably brings each back to the moment is both a science and an art. The effect is extremely calming, relaxing, but also energizing. Peter is a gifted, but also giving teacher.
So much fun and laughter as we gather. A poem to read. Settling in, laughter subsides as we become aware of the great silence of our being, brought back to it again and again by the reminder of our breath. In the sharing afterward (satsang), peter creates a mood that encourages people to share who they are. Meditation as pleasure, not a daily chore.
