“This little gem of a grocery store/bakery was a delightful find. Every morning, a variety of scrumptious freshly baked scones and muffins as well as other baked goods filled their counter top bakery shelves - add in a cup of their coffee and it made a filling breakfast or meal. There was a nice selection of really good hand made chocolates available! Beautiful fresh cut flowers for sale were attractively placed by the door. Outside the store, there was a place to sit and enjoy your food. If you are a game enthusiast, a table had an inlaid game board for chess or checkers.”

“Great LOCAL meal kit delivery. My family has been getting LUB about 1-2x/month on average, since 2017, after trying a number of other meal kit delivery services. The customer service with LUB has been fantastic (even helping accommodate an allergy). The produce and meat quality is why we switched to LUB originally, as it is fresh and not plagued by delivery delays. Now there are even add-ons and even more veggie and vegan-friendly options as well. Definitely try this out for your household, Victoria!”

“Good selection of products, and bulk barn is one of my favourite bulk chains, however the staff here is by far the worst I’ve encountered. Went in for a shopping trip yesterday and had no help finding products, two female employees were just standing at the till gossiping about coworkers and their manager which put me off quite a bit, and they didn’t stop even as we went to check out. Had to walk away without knowing if they had some of my favourite shelf staples in stock”

“So happy that there is Walmart in East North Victoria. It's small like Langford branch, but almost 90% payment is self service cash and only two cashiers are available. I believe in balance everything should be 50/50 or 60/40 and have just two cashiers is not enough and to pay there is a line more than any Walmart in Victoria. Very disappointed.”

“Everything I've had from Haus is delicious, and I'm here to say that their charcuterie box is one of the best in town. Ours contained a perfect variety of their meat offerings and well chosen cheeses, with great accompaniments (l will be raving about their pickled carrots for ages) for a great price. You know they care because they put the crackers in their own container - chef's kiss. Highly recommended, can't wait to try one of the Sunday dinners.”

Made with fresh ingredients right in front of you, very reasonable prices, super easy menu but are all delicious, when you enter the store I always feel like I'm experiencing a different culture which is a really nice take away when taking a lunch break for example. It is family run and this establishment has Persian grocery options and desserts! Also the best halva and baclava I have found so far in Victoria! Great place to pick spices and herbs as well, cold drinks, candy from Persian influences. Highly recommended My favourite is the chicken wrap, falafel wrap, and the baclava. Both are filling, not greasy, healthy choices! If you ask about the rice pudding, it is made with saffron! Super tasty delights!”
