“The biggest surprise for us visiting Kianuko Provincial Park, was how good the roads were. We got there via km 25 after turning off highway 3 at Kitchener. we also saw lots of wildlife, incredible views and lots of colors in the sky as the sun went down. There was what i believe to be a trappers cabin. Once we were 5 kms away from Kitchener. we never saw another car. Tranquility and rugged nature at its finest.”

“The area for riding is the draw here. Cindy is pleasant and her dogs keep the area safe. I stayed twice in a season for a total of 15 days. I enjoyed the access to bar-b-ques and the Saggy sac saloon could be fun depending on who's all there. It's a different campground for motorcycle enthusiasts and I like to pop in and say hello while out in the Kootenays. The men's showers are way nicer than the women's, but it's minor.”

“We had a lovely stay at Rivers Edge Ranch. The host was friendly and accommodating. We got two spots backing on to the river with water and power hookups. The Highway runs along the length of the property so it could get a little noisy but the view was gorgeous. The river is clean and clear for swimming or wading. We put our chairs in the water and soaked our feet to keep cool. We had an RV so used our awning for shade. There are no trees though so bring a canopy or something if you’re renting. We enjoyed our time here a lot.”

“We stopped here as we really enjoy the BC Parks sites as they are basic, but affordable ($21). Each woodland pitch is private and has the usual picnic table and firepit (wood purchased on site). It has pit loos dotted around the site, which were well stocked. It closes for the season in a few days time and there was plenty of space. There was loads of small wildlife around and we saw our first Pileated Woodpecker. The thing which amazed us was the wide array of mushrooms which were stunning. Great site and with 2 gas stations, a fab soap store and a just closed ice cream store make for a great visit a little earlier in the year too.”

“Awesome place to stay. Looks like constant improvements. Full service 30 amp, water and sewer hookups. Definitely planing on coming back and bringing boat to do some lake fishing. Golf just down the road or in Nakusp. Hate giving such a great review because more people will come. LOL”

“We just stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves so much! It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed for our birthday celebration. The food in the diningroom was delicious, a bit pricey but we really enjoyed it. Our server, Kennedy, did so much to ensure that we were pleased. The pools were amazing. Clean and well maintained and the perfect temp. Thank you to everyone that ensured our stay was enjoyable.”
