This backcountry lodge is top notch in every way; guided hikes by beautiful glaciers, meadows and streams, delicious homecooked meals in the comfy well maintained lodge. The owner Dave is onsite, and he and his sister Sandra are your guides. Mistaya has a comfortable informal vibe. The helicopter ride to the lodge is pretty spectacular too.

A great location high in the Rockies offering great skiing in the trees and in the alpine. We had snow all week but still enough visibility to get up to the continental divide twice including ascending to a summit. The building is great and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and very flexible in dealing with guests. It couldn't have been better really.

Epic back country skiing with amazing food and friendly, experienced hosts. One of the best experiences of my life.
