ACC Bow Hut

Spent 2 amazing nights in this hut. The scenery around here is incredible. Lots to explore around the hut. The hut is clean and we had a good group for our stay.

The hike to ACC Bow Hut was excellent. Amazing views the whole way and the trail was fairly easy to follow for a semi experienced hiker.
I would not recommend bringing dogs on this hike unless they are wearing boots as well due to the sharp rocks and boulders the whole way.
If you are experienced and good at climbing and navigating I would recommend going the extra hour past the hut to complete the Onion summit as there are great views of the lakes from the back side of it.
However the Onion is fairly technical and can be very dangerous if you are not prepared for it. Please do not attempt unless you have the skill to safely complete it.
All in all 10/10 amazing hike.

One of my favorite places. Hard hike into the hut but well worth the sweat and effort.

Great refuge from the elements. The only downside is that it can get quite busy. Be sure to book through the ACC first though or you won't have the combination to the lock.
