Bistro 1460

We went to dinner for my birthday, and I'm SO glad we did. We shared the combo ribs/chicken appi, which was very tasty. My husband ordered fish and chips and he was very happy with the portion size, presentation and enjoyed it thoroughly. I ordered the salmon it too was delicious. We're looking forward to trying the prime rib. Glad we tried Bistro 1460 and we will definitely be back. Our new favorite restaurant in Salmon Arm.
We found prices were fair for such quality.

Updated: (4 star) We decided to give Bistro 1460 another shot. Tonight we had the special (chicken and ribs with chefs veggies and mashed potatoes) and the pork schnitzel. Food was a lot better this time around. There was definitely more flavour, the presentation was very nicely done- the only downside I had was the batter on the chicken, was a thicker batter than what you would typically seen but was still good. We also chose to get the Salted Caramel Cheesecake.... this cheesecake was absolutely delicious! Sever was good and knowledgeable about the specials and other menu items.

Original: (2 star) Staff was friendly. Good amount of food for a cheaper price then expected however food was mediocre. Perhaps because of how late we ordered but could have had better.

I don't do alot of reviews online but definitely giving a HUGE rave to Bistro 1460.
Had the 2 piece Cod and chips. When it came out I was shocked at how big the pieces were.
The best I've had in town by far. Really crispy thin batter with thick slabs of meat. $16.50 for that, can't be beat.
Wife had the stuffed Yorkshire pudding dinner. She loved it. I tried a few bites, very good.
Kids had cheese burgers. The burgers are home made here. They stuffed them back big time! Fries were awesome too.
Also had the sweet chili lime wings to start. ?
The waitress was super nice and attentive. Definitely knew what she was doing. Early 20s brunette.
I forgot what her name was though. As I'm they type of guy that when you tell me your name, I forget it right away?
So big props to her and the chef.
First time we've been. Driven by a million times. But definitely going back.

Very happy with this choice of resturant! The food was really good (4 stars for the food) and our server made this meal 5 star! LESLEY this shout out is for you, you are just such a joy and made the dinner fantastic.

This place has a great variety of food (something for everyone) with a German undertone. You can tell that they actually care about what they are making. It's a nice change for roadtrip resturant stops.

I had the chicken schnitzel, since it was "schnitzel night". Spouse had the short rib. We both left full and happy. Mine was nice a crispy and the mushroom/onion gravy was delicious, plus my brocolini wasn't overcooked (which always seems to happen). I asked him and he said his was good. Thats all the detail I got....

First time customer. The food is excellent. We went on a Sunday night and everyone at the table ordered completely different dishes. We were all completely satisfied with the quality and taste of our meals!

Atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. Our server, Denise, was a joy!

We will definitely be back.
