amazing rescue we love our boy Matador. this rescue not only cares deeply for their horses but are dedicated to finding good homes not just saving them from slaughter.

Beautiful setting, friendly and caring people with huge hearts. This is a one of a kind magical place. If everyone in this world had as much compassion it would be a better place?

In my personal opinion this is the best horse rescue in BC , Carly is fair , honest , upfront , very knowledgeable and helpful. I looked at several horses that Carly had and she was very patient with me as I made my choice , I ended up adopting “Nizhoni” the little red roan paint weanling. I highly recommend this rescue.

I drove over a couple summers ago. Found Shawnee to be honest, knowledgeable, and kind. The rescue horses were well cared for and exactly as advertised. Thank you for your big hearts.
