Stayed there in August and still no deposit returned. Don't return messages, maintenance manager wife let dog poop on our site and then just walked away. Creek is very nice where they removed all the debris and placed rocks and dug wading pools with tractor.
Showers cost about $6 quarter operated. The new ownership is investors so no family attitude here. All about business and return on investment
Amazing gated campground. The staff/owners are very accommodating. We camped in a trailer this past year but are coming back again with another family to try out the tent sites. Might make it a summer family tradition
A great campground with great staff. The washrooms are always clean. Lots of reviews mention guests, we have always met people at the canoe beach not at the campground so can’t speak to that.
Absolutely beautiful property. Tight drive down the road past the gate, but very manageable with any unit if you make it wide as possible at the bottom. Great location.
We were running late as the highway we were travelling had a shutdown due to a collision. Called and spoke to someone(owner/daughter) and told her we may be a bit late. Her response was "we close at 8". I asked what if we were a bit late and response was "I suggest you make other arrangements.
We did get there on time (barely) and nice as can be.
Long story short, beautiful place, but very strict on policies and absolutely NO working around that.
Property was immaculate from what we saw. That would be a definate 5 star. Lady on phone dropped it to 0 stars.Did not use the facilities as we are fully contained.
I would definitely recommend this place, just make sure you get in plenty early.
Thank you for the amazing time. We made some beautiful family memories this past weekend. People and community are so welcoming & friendly. The outhouses and flush toilets are the cleanest I've seen this camping season yet. Playground could be upgraded some as kids can't climb the banks which we get environmental reasons. Lots of attractions close by go karts(BEST mango ice cream), mini golf, golf, waterslides, shopping, and Canoe beach (absolutely beautiful). Pet friendly. Campsite 21 is the absolute best.
