“I always stop at La Baguette in Revy because the coffee is outstanding and then picked some up at a supermarket out there but didn't know it was the same as what they used. Was phenomenal! Found out they have it at ONE cafe in Calgary and drove in 40k from Airdrie just to pickup a bag. Had a LOT of coffee through my setup and this by far has the best flavor and perfect roast grade. Hope to see more of you out here!!”

“The pumpkin seed scones or biscuits were fantastic and the mocha was very different. I liked it as a change from typical mochas. Thanks very much.”

“ive been going to blondies since i could remember and so has my family. they have never messed up an order and the cafe workers are very friendly people always saying hi to there customers. i really like how they have a dog water bowl. our dog really apprieciates it! the food is delicious (especially the lemon cranberry muffin)! all the drinks are great and you cant go wrong with any of them and there lemonade is perfect if your craving something sweet!! i would 100% recomend this place if your stopping by and want something to eat or drink. definitly one of my favourite shops in town!”

“Askews is an Okanagan gem, and a surprisingly heavy hitter in the grocery game in their area. They’ve got tons more selection packed into a smaller footprint than you’d expect, and the staff are great. The new Salmon Arm uptown location is practically a work of art just in the building scheme, plus the above mentioned selection and good staff. I know some hardcore Askews-only shoppers, and I get it! If I lived in a town they were in, I think this would be my go-to place as well 👍🏻”

“A surprise gem on the Trans Canada! Great coffee and some yummy baked goods. An excellent selection of merch from dozens of Canadian artisans. My only regret is I didn’t take more photos. This peanut butter marshmallow square was the only one I snapped, to send to a friend whose Mom used to make them, it was just as great as I expected it to be.”

“We've stayed at this hostel a few times now and every time it is relaxing and beautiful. Really can't beat the price AND the lakeside location, plus sleeping in old train cars is the coolest. For a small amount extra, you can even get a lovely homemade pancake breakfast in the morning. As well, you can take a canoe out onto the lake or even dip yourself in on a hot day. A really cool place to try out if you're passing through the area.”

“This is great, would rate 8 out of 8. There are several reasons for this prestige review. 1. Great service. Everytime I go to the brae, the customer service is impeccable. They recognize me, and it is an honour to be a regular. 2. Great products. Coffee and other delactable drinks are served here, and the quality beats anything else in town. 3. The Brae supports local business. The Brae Cafe is not only a proud supporter of Reverend Coffee, but also of Millar College, and I can always respect a shop that supports local business. In conclusion, the Brae Cafe has top notch drinks, with top notch service, and would earn from me, if I could award them, 3 michellan stars”

“Just popped in before checking out of the hotel for a hangover snack and a coffee. Got an Americano and an almond croissant, which was amazing. Wish I bought another to savour for later. Staff was friendly and we got our order quickly. The place is nice and bright with a lovely Parisian white and pink look. I loved the feel and it would have been nice to sit in a eat a crepe were things not in Covid mode. Hope I can stop by again soon.”

“Enjoy coming here when I can. Lots of love goes into their food, and their barista does a fantastic job with the coffee. Karina and the staff are always warm and welcoming. I'm lucky to have it so close to home.”

“I usually go do the drive through. My orders are always correct, the staff and management seem very friendly. The only thing that bugs me is the evening/graveyard staff, rarely inform you if you're going to have to wait a while for your food. I understand that at certain times of night you don't have everything available. But a heads up is always nice, I personally don't mind waiting for fresh food at all.”

“Honestly the best place I have ever been to. I am so deeply sad to say they have closed permanently due to covid. My heart is so deeply sad as I have so many childhood memories there. I loved Chester the cat (there mascot) and had my very own stuffed Chester. I would always bring him with me to get my cheese scone or pepperoni pizza. I’m going to miss this place dearly and I know lots of Salmon Arm will as well. Thank you for 21 years of greatness Chester. ~A kid made happy”

“During a time when hygiene is important, I was surprised to see the counter person accept money from the person in front of me, then go ahead and make not only that Persons coffee, but try and make my coffee and food with the same gloves she had on while she took this persons *cash* money and put it into the till. I did ask her to change her gloves, which she did, however any person should be aware of what the person is doing when making their drinks and food. Other then that, the coffee was good and so was the sandwich.”

“Great food stop off the highway. Amazing fresh ingredients. All baked goods homemade on the premises and exceed expectations. The one staff member in the front greeted us right when we walked in and was cheerful the whole time. Nice little tables outside on the deck. Will absolutely be coming back next time we pass through.”
