Perfect trail for your gravel bike
Built on an abandoned rail bed this is a flat, easy walking trail.
Good signage is provided, both for directions and for history.
Much of the trail passes by small farms so you may see various animals and/or farm work in progress.
For the most part this is an out and back trail system, however it is possible to walk one section of it as a loop, which should take about 3 hours.
Nice easy bicycle trail. Can't wait for spring to get all the smells of the country.
Beginning just outside of Courtenay this multi-use trail is great for an off road bike ride. It extends nearly 8km through the Dove Creek farmland with opportunities to do a loop through Wildwood Forest via the Bob Webb Trail off the end of Brazier Road. Good also for runners and dog walkers although it is a leashing mandatory trail to ensure the safety of livestock in pastures abutting the trail. Parking is limited with just two spots near Cessord Rd, 2 or 3 more at the corner of Piercy and Condensory and another three at the end of Brazier. There is parking for up to two horse trailers on Burns Road.
Excellent walking and riding trail. Multi use, walking, running, horses and bikes. Rural location with easy access to roads.
