Beautiful spot to recollect your thoughts and heal.
Very nice view of the ocean with lovely walking trails that offer a lot of smells for the dogs.
There is also an abandoned ship that would be fun for aerial photos.
I would 10/10 recommended I had a nice time at this trail.
A really unique and beautiful place to visit. I watched the sunrise with my fiance. The ship wrecks look really cool (you can view them from the beach) and there are trails and an out house nearby. The beach is there too, and I noticed lots of people from all age groups pulling up for a quick stroll or to have their morning coffee while enjoying the view. A nice little spot
This was a great walk, both along the trail and on the beach.
There is good signage to give historic perspective as to how and why the area developed as it did as well as information on current reclamation efforts.
The trail is fairly easy. Going out onto the beach areas at low tide you need to be a little more aware of your footing.
There are numerous places to stop and rest.
Beautiful little trail just outside of Courtney which is worth stopping at because it gives you a fun little track behind some fabulous seaside houses in the forest as well as opening up into the beach and flat plains of the ocean. Nice view of sailboats going by and a beautiful blue sky with puffy clouds kind of day.
do keep an eye out on the highway for the turn off which is hard to find. Use Google to navigate if you need too!
