Quiet and beautiful park located right on the ocean but with plenty of trees and green space. The small wood houses brings you back 100 years and the gift shop is a must stop.
This park is where I'd go if I wanted to just sit down and read a book and enjoy a coffee. You can't see what's inside the park until you enter through the gates. And enter a nice big green lawn and paths that lead you too various spaces in the park that used to be the filberg property now a municipal heritage site. There are many different types of trees and plants. And for sale to small bouquets. Various buildings to look around and explore but I was there when it was closed. There is a small outdoor restaurant right near the water and the view as you can see in the photo. I did see a couple of deer grazing. And heard many quacks. Very good for kids to explore during the day. There is a petting zoo!
The park is absolutely stunning! We took our wedding photos there. Not only is it so beautiful but there is so much to see. They have animals, a beautiful restaurant with delicious food, so many walk paths and of course the ocean right there.
Must go see if you are in the area.
Beautiful scenery and history of the park. Loved seeing all the different plants and flowers.
Park vehicle on the street. No dogs allowed. Events ca be held at this historical location. There is a public washroom. Beautiful landscape. Antiques are for sale at the old house. All proceeds go to maintain the park. There is no playgroung but I noticed a day school summer camp for kids.
