Cumberland Village Bakery

I consider myself a bit of a Village Donut myself, so I obviously fit right in here. Every time that I make sweet summer love to the wife, we finish our tradition with a nice creamy donut. They are a pallet cleanser and sensory divider. We slit the first donut in two and place one piece, usually the larger one, on top of the wife's head. We set the second piece on the nightstand that my grandma bought us, and then the fight is on. We wrestle, toss and turn, twist and shout, shake and jive, fighting each other tooth and nail for a lovely taste of that sweet treat. Once the first donut has been eaten and a winner is decided, the second donut is then distributed equally among all eight of our children. It is a tradition that will be passed on for generations. I visited this bakery on August 29, 2023 while visiting the area. I had the most delicious raspberry filled sugar donut with chocolate on top! OMG! It was so fantastic and amazing I went back for another to take home with me. There were so many delicious options. I am thankful I live far away from this bakery or I would be in serious trouble! Lol!

some of the best baked goods around. The jelly donut is amazing. They also have a German almond berry dessert that is out of this world. Good value and friendly employees.
