“If you are in need of pastry that actually tastes like it has been baked in Europe, you found the right spot. I have not had a Croissant that is this close to an original French made version here in BC before. You have to try their variety of cookies and desserts Creations. But careful this is highly addictive 😀”

“Update: Thanks for the correction! I didn't know it was not suppose to be cinnamon, so I updated my score 5/5 ⭐ Come if you want pastries that doesn't cut any corners. I ordered a apple pecan pastry $5, croissant $3.50, and cinnamon knot $3. The apple pecan packed a lot of flavor and has great texture. You can tell they put extra attention in crafting this wonderful masterpiece. The croissant was flaky, light and buttery. It tasted like the ones I had in France. The cinnamon knot was my least favorite but it was okay. I believe it was cinnamon but honestly I didn't really look at the sign. The service was friendly and professional. The location is in a industrial area tucked around the side. I drove by the first time but spotted their lawn signage. It's not much to look at from the outside or inside. I do wish they had a little more choices. I don't mind paying more for better quality food but it's still a tad pricier than I would like to pay. That's why it prevented me from giving it 5 stars. My recommendation is grab a coffee or tea, pick up a few pastries and head over to a park to enjoy them.”

“I consider myself a bit of a Village Donut myself, so I obviously fit right in here. Every time that I make sweet summer love to the wife, we finish our tradition with a nice creamy donut. They are a pallet cleanser and sensory divider. We slit the first donut in two and place one piece, usually the larger one, on top of the wife's head. We set the second piece on the nightstand that my grandma bought us, and then the fight is on. We wrestle, toss and turn, twist and shout, shake and jive, fighting each other tooth and nail for a lovely taste of that sweet treat. Once the first donut has been eaten and a winner is decided, the second donut is then distributed equally among all eight of our children. It is a tradition that will be passed on for generations. Thank you, Cumberland Village Bakery! We love you deeply.”

“Pretty much the cutest gluten free bakery! We will be stopping here again any time we’re headed up the coast. Self serve. They accept cash and e-transfer. The apple cinnamon buns, which were soooooooooo good. I have definitely had some mediocre gluten free cinnamon buns. These were outstanding. Even my gluten eating partner loved them. The star of the buns was the cream cheese frosting, which wasn’t too sweet. Can’t wait to try the other pastries we picked up! Fluffy bread and cookies!”

“I had a chance to visit this tim hortons and I was amazed by their team work. I got my food in less than one minute I was surprised with their service. I visited many stores of tim hortons but this is the best I can guarantee. Everyone at the store was greeting customers in very polite manner. I would reccomend my friends and family to visit this store. Hats off to their management. Such a wonderful team.”

“Kayla and her team catered an English-themed afternoon tea for my grandmother's 100th birthday party. I couldn't have asked for more in a caterer - Kayla was flexible, amenable and responsive to any emails I sent. In short she made my job of party planning a complete breeze! On the day of the event, Kayla arrived with her staff to oversee and assist with the set up. The food not only looked gorgeous but it was absolutely delicious! Our guests raved about the afternoon tea and I had a number of queries re who had catered the party. In short, I can highly recommend Kayla and her team for catering - both on quality of the food and service. They were key players in making my gran's 100th birthday party a day that our family will treasure always. I'm giving Flying Apron a 5-star review - they deserve every one of them...and more!!”

“Don't be fooled. Tim's is gone. Now it's only the Canex cashiers making coffee that you self-serve. If I'm pouring my own coffee, why does it not come at a discount? My service was great though; I gave myself a tip.”

“*Now takes credit/debit cards* Absolutely my new favourite bakery! Discovered for the first time with a friend and I'm hooked! The Lemon Meringue pie is absolute heaven, the macaroons are exactly how I love them and the Ginger cookie was the perfect amount of spice, chew and happiness! I can't wait to go back for more and the little place is the cutest little bakery ever! Thank you!”

“Amazing! Showed up on a rainy and John was making himself some pizzas to take home and said that it’d be 35-40 minutes until another pizza will be done since everything is from scratch. He was kind enough to offer us one of the pizzas he was going to take home so we could make our 5 o’clock ferry! So nice. John asked us for our names and we’ll be sure to stop by next time we visit!! The oh hell yea is the go to :)”
