Really great camp spot; beautiful view of the ocean and just a short walk to the beach!
The owners are super friendly and willing to help, they delivered fire wood and ice to our site and gave a lot of suggestions of things to do on the island.
Really clean amenities as well!
Overall 10/10
Our campsite had an awesome view that looked onto the ocean! The bathrooms and our site were super clean. The staff are really nice and have great tips about the area, they also delivered fire wood and ice right to our site! 10/10 would come back again.
also there’s a really friendly campsite cat that hung out with us a bunch
Overall, a beautiful ocean-view campsite. Friendly staff, well-behaved guests, a few little cute cats wandering around. There is a staircase that goes right down to the ocean!
HOWEVER (and this was totally beyond the camp’s control), there was a party house right across the street. They blasted loud music until 6am.
This campsite was so wonderful, but sadly we had the worst sleep ever due to the terribly loud music.
I would definitely suggest you pack some ear plugs due to the proximity of potentially loud neighbouring houses!
Otherwise, we loved this campsite.
First stay at Bradsdadsland and was curious as the online reviews are so mixed. Had a really good time - the campsite is well laid out with excellent amenities including the cleanest pit toilets, showers, a recycling and compost area which shows a genuine concern for the environment, a freezer room and it was very peaceful. True, you're not allowed to play your music but it was peaceful and friendly and I'll definitely be back!
This is among my very favorite places to be. Nothing really beats waking to the ocean waves and ravens.
The freezer room allows us to stay for a week, it's such a benefit to the guests, as well as the laundry facilities and showers. Super handy to have the store to shop from, as well as a fresh fruit, vegetable and flower stand at the entrance.
The washrooms and outhouses (which were completely re-done recently) are always clean and stocked with paper products.
They've also added running water to the sites and soon power. The sunsets are breath taking too!
But my most favorite part of this campsite is Erica & Martin. They bring a smile to our faces and are the kindest folks you'll meet! Our 13 year old lost their Skull Candy earphones this trip- Erica & Martin had a pair of Apple earbuds they weren't using and gifted them to my teen! Brought tears to my eyes. I love chatting with them and could spend my entire time here doing just that.
They've worked very hard to make improvements here and I hope you will be kind to them and appreciate what they've accomplished. It's truly admirable.
